  • Enough Stuff: 12:45 p.m., 2:15 p.m., 3:45 p.m.
    Watt a Waste: 11:15 a.m., 1:45 p.m.
  • Length: 15 minutes
Enjoy fun musical-comedy performances for the whole family! "Enough Stuff" highlights some of the amazing new animals you can see during your Aquarium visit. In crowd favorite, "Watt a Waste," you’ll discover great ways to save energy.

Whales to Windmills: Inventions Inspired by the Sea

  • Where: Auditorium
  • When: 11 a.m., 1:30 p.m., 3 p.m., 4:30 p.m.
  • Length: 15 minutes
In this 15-minute live program, you'll learn how whales, sharks, boxfish and other ocean critters are providing inspiration for new inventions that are greening and cleaning up our planet.

  • Length: 15 minutes
Learn about our efforts to better understand the life history of these threatened and fascinating ocean predators, as well as the steps we are taking to tag and exhibit white sharks.

Mysteries of the Deep

  • Where: Auditorium
  • When: 11:30 a.m., 2 p.m.
  • Length: 15 minutes
Plunge below the cold, dark waters of Monterey Canyon and see amazing deep sea creatures with the help of robot submersibles used by scientists at the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute. You can ask questions and decide which animals to see—you'll even "join" the expedition via a live link if the ship is on a mission.

Have fun, win prizes and learn how to protect sea otters in the wild. In this entertaining live program, we'll choose three contestants from the audience to see who knows the most about sea otters!

  • Length: 15 minutes
Jellies have been around for 530 million years—learn how they are perfectly adapted to survive and thrive in their ocean homes. Tagging Predators

  • Where: Auditorium
  • When: 5 p.m.
  • Length: 15 minutes
The lives of tuna, sea turtles, sharks, and other open-ocean animals have long been a mystery to researchers. In this 15-minute film, you'll learn how Monterey Bay scientists are using satellite tags to follow the travels of these animals and identify ways we can help protect them.

Kelp Forest Feeding

Watch a diver hand-feed the sharks, fishes and other animals in our Kelp Forest exhibit while you learn about this unique and beautiful undersea world during a live interactive presentation. View our kelp cam for live images of the exhibit.

Join us in front of one of the world's largest windows as we feed tunas, barracuda and bonito in our spectacular Outer Bay exhibit.
